When the U.S. Navy Blue Angels came back to Hawaii for the Kaneohe Bay Air Show, they didn’t just wow the crowds in the sky — they also made a special stop with us here at Tiki’s Grill & Bar.
One afternoon, over 30 members of the Blue Angels crew walked through our doors. The room seemed to lift with their energy. They brought kindness, smiles, and stories from the road — tales of airshows, travel, and teamwork at the highest level. Our team was honored to host them, serving tropical cocktails, local beer, and fresh island flavors while they laughed and swapped stories overlooking Waikiki Beach.
For them, like so many other service members, Tiki’s is the perfect spot to come off base and relax. Most military parties here are casual wear — aloha shirts, shorts, and slipper — but we’ve hosted our share of formal events too, complete with dress uniforms and ceremonial touches.
